The Nissan Leaf, the first fully electric vehicle is a finalist in the Car of the Year 2011. The Leaf manages to look striking enough to turn heads and attracts much wanted attention.
At low speeds the Nissan Leaf is remarkably good fun, with decent steering and parking camera meaning it is easy to squeeze into tight parking spots. Almost all urban bumps are soaked up with ease adding to the smooth driving experience.
The seats are firm and supportive, with the rest of the interior finished to a high standard. Satellite navigation, parking camera, auto gearbox and Bluetooth all come as standard. The rear passengers get a decent amount of head and leg space allowing all customers to be comfortable.
Driving down the road there are none of the usual noxious gases churning out of the exhaust making this car great for the environment.
